Termeno - Aromatic wines in the sunny south

"Termeno takes you a bit further to the sunny south of Italy. And this might be seen at the first glance. At an altitude of 276 m, the pretty village of Termeno is waiting for you.
This is the place where a particular wine has its origins: the Gewürztraminer. Lovers of wine can look forward to a special kind of experience.
Beautiful places rich in culture such as the church of San Giacomo in Kastelaz, the highest brick-built church spire of Tyrol or the local village museum are definitely worth visiting.
Not only the place also the people of Termeno are characterised by a southern spirit. During Carnival for instance, men in particular retain a particular old custom. The so-called “Egetmannumzug” is a superb parade taking place every two years on Pancake Day, with the local people dressing up as dinosaur-like animals. Don’t miss it!
Moreover, Termeno is the ideal starting point for all kinds of leisure activities. Woods, plains and lakes are within easy reach and even a golf course is found in the surrounding area. All it needs is to choose which kind of activity you try out first :-)"
